An effective body conditioning class inspired by ballet techniques with an infusion of yoga and Pilates. Great for posture, core, toning, strengthening and stretching. Great for all levels including beginners and those in rehabilitation.

COMMERCIAL DANCE
A fun and varied class with an energetic warm up, toning and stretch followed by learning a dance routine. Routines change every 2-3 weeks and can be based on any of the following dance styles:  jazz, street, rock, musical theatre, latin, Bollywood, flamenco and more!

YOGA
A Hatha Yoga Class with a blend of flowing movements, dynamic postures, breathing techniques and tension-releasing stretches. Great for stamina, toning, flexibility and letting go of what isn’t serving you.

GENTLE EXERCISE CLASS
Aimed at seniors – A kind movement class for those who need to listen to their bodies and take it steady for a while. This class is a blend of Barre, Pilates and Yoga and uses chairs for support and seated exercise and no matt work. It is ideal for those returning to exercise after a long period, new mums (babies welcome), the elderly or less mobile or injured/rehabilitating….
We focus on mobilising joints, strengthening postural muscles and releasing tension and pain.

Ballet
A non-syllabus and a mix of Barre (using chairs), centre practice, jumps and turns. It will have all the discipline of ballet but a very accessible and fun class.

MONTHLY WORKSHOPS in HATHA YOGA and BROADWAY DANCE are also available. Email mindbodydanceuk@gmail.com to be added to our workshop mailing list.

CONTEMPORARY-LYRICAL DANCE CLASS
Feel connected with your body and explore contemporary styles including release, flying low, Cunningham technique and floor based work. Develop strength through the use of your upper body and core. An introduction to lifting skills, explore set phrases and develop choreography. A varied class, some with a relaxed, soft approach to movement, some high intensity and challenging. Improve strength, stamina and coordination alongside the development of choreography and the use of various devices.
