Due to the Covid-19 pandemic. I am currently running some online classes. Classes are either run on Zoom (as of May 2020 – please email to join a Zoom class), Live on Facebook or classes are uploaded to our YouTube channel, please subscribe here for those. See schedule below.

Class Descriptions

TODDLER DANCE ages 2-3 years (early walkers welcome)
A generic dance class (where mums stay and join in or watch) for your little ones to learn the basic principles of dance in a fun and expressive way. This class will be imperative for developing coordination, strength, flexibility and rhythm. We will use techniques from Ballet, Jazz and Street Dance so your toddlers will be well prepared to join any dance class at 4 years.

MINI KIDS  STREET DANCE ages 4-6 years
A generic dance class that focuses on Street dance techniques.. A fun and energetic class using popular songs and props to help with creative development,
Taught by Miranda

Fun and varied classes with an energetic warm up and stretch followed by some technical exercises with influences of Jazz, Hip Hop and Break Dance. Students will also be learning dance routines.

Traditional (non-syllabus) classical ballet. A technical class – Children will benefit hugely from the disciplines of ballet. Posture, coordination, strength, stamina, poise, dedication, motivation and confidence are a few of the life-long benefits that regular ballet class can bring.

A creative and explorative dance class consisting of leaps, floor work, partner work and free movement.

A mixed hour of in Dance, Drama and Song focusing on classic and modern musicals from theatres and film.  From The Greatest Showman to The Wizard of Oz… Fun, fun and more fun!

What to wear?

Street, Contemporary and Musical Theatre: Students should come to class in clothing they can move around in easily, trainers or dance sneakers are essential for street dance and musical theatre and bare feet for contemporary and long hair must be tied back.

Ballet: Eventually Children must wear a leotard and pink ballet tights or bare legs and leather, satin or canvas ballet shoes. Hair must be tied back and off the face. For the first few ballet classes students may dance in bare feet and wear fitted leggings and a vest. please note that the for ballet class the uniform is particularly important so technical corrections can be made.
