First and foremost MBD is a community of both local, North Cornwall, and online folk of all ages, abilities, experience and walks of life brought together through the power of movement which help to provide longevity, grounding, healing, a release of trauma and tension in the body (that otherwise manifests as disease) but most of all joy and fun and friendship!

Our intention has always been and will always be to empower our community to be the best of themselves through bringing more movement and mind-body awareness into their lives. Whether you need to dance-up a sweat, perfect your posture, flow in yoga, build strong dance foundations, transform your fitness and strength, release tension, improve your mood or find a deeper spiritual connection… We’ve got you!

We run classes at our MBD Studio in Wadebridge. We also run Dance and Yoga events, workshops and retreats in the surrounding area. Our classes our suitable for all abilities from beginners to advanced and we are all hugely passionate about what we do

MBD was founded by Lisa Stephens.

“Dance was my first love and I love it, alongside yoga, more than ever. The way that different forms of movement with music and breath work can effect our mood (immediately) and our physical bodies, physiological systems, mental health and spiritual wellbeing in the long term, just amazes me. It’s so healing and empowering throughout all phases of life.  I believe in it and I love to share my wisdom and experience around this.” Lisa Stephens
