MOVE is a contemporary dance workshop for all levels of dancer from absolute beginners Age 16+
DATE & TIME: Saturday 8th September 10.30am – Midday
LOCATION: Mawgan Porth Village Hall
This 90 minute workshop will explore MOVEMENT And SPACE. Not just of the body and breath but it will get you travelling, turning and jumping across the floor.
With many of us having such busy but static lives (tensing bodies sat at a computer all day!) this workshop will nurture your inner child and liberate your body.
the workshop will consist of a warm up, travelling sequences and a very fun routine.
We ran this workshop in a January and it was very popular so we are doing it again.
This workshop will be taught by contemporary dancer, teacher and choreorgrapher Miranda Howard:
“I love all dance styles but especially contemporary because of the freedom to be creative and make it anything you want. I studied Choreography at Falmouth University and I’ve performed with various dance and theatre companies including Cscape, SpinDrift and Rogue Theatre. I want dancing to be accessible for everyone, even people who think they can’t dance! I really enjoy teaching and sharing the benefits of dance with all ages and abilities.
